Gaillac est réputé pour son vignoble, à l'origine du vin de Bordeaux.
The city of Gaillac

Town of fun and discoveries, Gaillac, located in a loop of the Tarn river, promotes a sophisticated way of life. With its culture, its wines, its inhabitants, its natural and historical richness,  Gaillac enjoys all the qualities of a typical french South-West village and shares  them with all visitors.

Its numerous monuments (St-Michel abbey, St Pierre church, Griffoul square, Yversen et Pierre de Brens mansions, the Foucaud Castle-fine arts museum, etc.), its parks and lively small streets make it an unavoidable stage when visiting the Tarn departement.

An historical mansion

It is a real landmark of the town, certainly the house visitors take the most pictures of!

Typical of the local architecture, in pink bricks, its floors are reached by a magnificent stone staircase crowned by an open shelter, the "soleilhou". Its façade is decorated by a remarkable glycine.

The basis goes back to the XIIIth century, with additions and improvements from the XVth and XVIIIth centuries, in order to become habitable. Our family made a lot of efforts to make it comfortable, with bathrooms, central heating, terraces and furniture, while keeping its antique character.
